William Michael Barrett

William Michael "Bill" Barrett, 70, of Pine Village, Indiana died Wednesday, April, 1, 2015.

He was born September 20, 1944 in Boswell, Indiana to the late Hollice and Jeanette (Goen) Barrett. He married Judy Gick on October, 22, 1966. They later divorced. He married Jody Ann Walkup on October 12, 2002. She survives.

Also surviving are three Sons, Christopher (Desiree) Barrett, David (Wendy) Barrett and Steve (Kim) Barrett; two stepdaughters, Sarah Propes and Jill Hare; eleven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; sister, Stella Gillen and two brothers, Joe (Elsie) Barrett and Tom Barrett.

He was preceded in death by six sisters, Dorothy, Kate, Elsie, Mary, Louise and Hazel and two brothers, Jack and Frank.

Bill was a 1962 graduate of Boswell High School, a 1966 graduate of Indiana State University and received his Master's Degree from Indiana State University in 1971. He had been a teacher and basketball coach at Pine Village High School. He also formerly worked at Huntington Bank and the former State Bank of Oxford. He formerly owned the Local Bar in Fowler and was a Crop Adjuster. Bill enjoyed fishing, sports, basketball, golf, mushroom hunting and a good Martini.
