of the reigne of our soveryn Ladye queen Elizabethe by the grace
of god of Englande ffrances & Irelande defendares of the faithe &
in the yeare of our Lorde god 1579 I William Baylye of Ellmore in
the countye of the tythe of glouc..husbandmane being [g..ned ] and
[ favobele ] memory [ …es ] in bodye but whole in minde & of good & pfect
remembrance [knowinge] the [ abilities] of this [%E2%80%A6sitowye ] iiyfe
that deathe to all people is a thinge mooste [%E2%80%A6.. ] but the
honour thereof mooste [ con..ertaime ] minding therefore to…ablisse
and order my goods & chattel on thereby allcontar… contention

testamente in manner & foarme folownge that is to say first and

William had a nephew called enery (Henry)
Thomas Snowe is recorded in1608 Muster Roll for Elmore Parish.

William actually married twice. His first wife was Johane Jenyng mar. 11 Jul 1560 at Elmore, she died possibly as a result of child birth (her son Anselme), William later married his second wife Agnes Cassall 25 Nov 1562 at Elmore.
