About William Allen Clark

William Allen Clark was the son of William Henry and Nancy McCready Clark. He was born in Omemee, Ontario, Canada and was one of four known children.
In 1889 he married Ellen Janette (Nettie) Skinner Flint. Together they had three children: Herbert Franklin Clark, Glenn Ray Clark, and Teresa Regina Clark Wheeler.
William and Janette met after he migrated from Canada to Ohio. They migrated by covered wagon from Ohio to Maquon, IL when their son, Herb, was a year old.
He was a farmer by trade.
