William Hiram Cook married Mary Ellen Lack; they had the following children: Arley Winford (buried at Starnes), Iziak (Ike), Bill (William) Wallace, Edward Cleveland and George Thomas (both buried at Starnes), John Sanford (Mage), Marshall Corbain (buried at Starnes), and Dolly Mae and Lou Ellen Cook.
William & Mary Ellen came with their family from AR to OK (Indian Territory) in 1902 in a covered wagbon which took about 28 days. They settled in the Fort Gibson bottoms which was mostly swamp land. Within the first year. they lost a son Billy, and then their 2 daughters within six mos.; they died of the "fever."
