5. 1840 census Owen Co., Ky. (Roll #122) lists William Crouch ae 50-60 with wife & children whose ages closely match those of other records. Brothers Joseph Crouch & Reuben Crouch listed; also listed are Young Crouch ae 20-30 & William Y. H. Crouch ae 20-30.

11. 1842 Proof of parents: William Crouch filed papers in Washington Co TN Courthouse explaining reasons he |could not return to TN to collect property willed to him by his father Jesse Crouch. (Washington Co TN enrolling Docket 1834-1844, p. 316 | | recorded 08 Oct 1842 that William Crouch of Owen Co KY is insolvent, but an heir in the | | estate of his father Jesse Crouch dec'd in undivided land & slaves).

1862 son George "G.W." Crouch was administrator of William Crouch's estate in Decatur Co IN.
