Cunninghame or Conyngham, Earl of Glencairn, Scotland.
In 1539 William Cunninghame was consecrated Bishop of Argyle and had a son
- William who had 2 sons,
- William Conyngham who succeeded his father ....at Conyngham-Head, ....and in 1627 was created a Baronet of Nova Scotia.
- Rev. Alexander Cunninghame went to Ireland ....and in 1611 was the first protestant minister ....of Enver / Inver and Killymard, co. Donegal. ....In 1631 he was promoted to the Deanery of Raphoe ....on Rev. Archibald Adair's promotion from the ....Deanery of Raphoe to the Bishoprick of Killala.
