William Davis (1747-1818) was married to Agnes Lanier (1752-1813). Married 8/29/1769 in VA.
He moved from VA to Wilkes County, GA ca 1795, settling near Sardis Church on Kettle Creek.

[A correction suggested by Pat (47290509) The 990 acres mentioned above was awarded to Rev William Davis located in Wilkes County at the head of Broad River not to William Davis who settled on Kettle Creek. February 2021].
Burial is in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Rayle, Wiles County, GA.
