William Jabez Dodd

The death is announced of Mr Jabez Dodd, of Jerusalem, near Kadina. Mr Dodd was in his 86th year, and a colonist of nearly 70 years. He came to Wallaroo Mines about 40 years ago, and was engine driver on the mines for most of that time. He was a prominent Methodist, and a much sought local preacher. Three sons and several married daughters survive him. One of his sons is the Hon J. W. Dodd, of the Western Australian Ministry.
