Mr. William Bush Duke, 90, resident of Durham, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2005. He was born in Durham, the son of the late Flora Ellis Duke and Graham Duke.

He was preceded in death by his wives Geneva Ninnie Ellis Duke and Ruthie Roberts Duke. Mr. Duke was a retired farmer from Bahama, and attended Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Annie (Ann) Duke Riley and husband, Jack Riley, Ruth Rigsbee and husband, Calvin, Juanita Latta and Bobby McCullough; son, Harold Duke and wife, Peggy, half-brother Percy Duke, of Kerr Lake; four stepchildren, John Roberts, Barbara Currin, E. H. Roberts, and Linda Allen; eight grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, and 16 step-great grandchildren.
