About William Issac Edmonds
GEDCOM Note
"Dick for what it is worth, in the Savoie/Edmunds file you sent the other day, it shows that William J. Edmonds married Charlotte Strang was the son of Marie Savoie and William Edmonds. According to what I have this is not correct, the William I (not J) Edmunds who married Charlotte Strang was theliam Edmonds b.May 2, 1825 in London England and was married to Mary MacKenzie.1 census is shown having a wife Mary. This Mary is in fact Marie Savoie who was his second wife. In the same 1881 census on page 151 you will find William Edmond age 35 and his wife Mary A. and they are shown with 2 children Mary J. age 4 and William age 2.t married Charlotte Strang.t it is worth I had gone through this family line with the Daughter of William and Charlotte a few years back and although I can't be 100% sure of my facts, it would seem she would be a pretty good judge of the family line. Unfortunately she is in the hospital at present, unless she just got out, but at the first opportunity I will double check with her." (KS)ewart", Campbellton, NB, October, 2001.
