Biography

William was born about 1672 in Kittery, York, Massachusetts (present Maine). He was the son of Adrian Frye and Sarah (dau. of John White?)

"William Frye and wife Hannah, who signed a deed in 1718 and in 1725. In a deed dated 3 June 1708 he mentions 'my brother Joseph Hill.' He married Hannah, dau. of John and Elizabeth (Strong) Hill. He was living in 1739 and belonged with his family to the Society of Friends." [1]
