William Wesley Gee

26 March 2022: This profile may have been conflated with another William Gee (possibly his father), as there appear to be substantial conflicts. One example is that other sites (such as FamilySearch and MyHeritage) have William Wesley Gee married to three wives, serially; none of which was Vesta Laura Beck. If he married Beck in 1893 in California why did various census records list him in Iowa before and after that date, with no extant records placing him in California? More research is necessary.

William Wesley Gee was born 19 December 1854, first son and second child of of William Gee and Elizabeth Rupe. He married Vesta Laura Beck (1863 - 1919) on 24 May 1893 at Centerville, Alameda County, California, and they had three children. He died at the age of 79 on 25 January 1934, and was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
