p: 64: 'The fact that a son, William, was buried at Berwick who was not baptized there and who breaks the otherwise even pattern of baptisms of George's children [if he had been born after 1589 - JB] suggests that William was a child of an earlier marriage, born before the family's move to Berwick.'
