WILLIAM LEE

William Edwin Lee was born August 29, 1890, at Garey (sic), Minnesota, and passed away at Kalispell, Montana, December 25, 1935, at the age of 45. He came to the Flathead in 1907, with his parents and lived northwest of Kalispell for several years. In May, 1914, he was married to Johanna Stevsvick, who now survives him with their four children, Mrs. Bud Sexton, Blanche Lee, James Lee and Gordon Lee, all of Kalispell. There are also two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Stickles of Marion and Mrs. E. E. Mohn of Kalispell and six brothers, Edward, Ervin, and Lawrence of Kalispell and Arthur, Martin and Morris of Modesto, California.

Funeral services for William (Bill) Lee were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Waggener & Campbell chapel by Rev. L. N. Field of the Bethlehem Lutheran church. The chapel was filled to capacity by the many friends and beautiful flowers were banked high about the casket. During the services Mrs. A. A. Koppang sang a solo and with Mrs. H. Hanson two duets were given with Mrs. J. M. Carlson accompanying at the piano. Friends acting as pall bearers were Edwin Lee, Nordie Lee, Bernie Lee, George Berland, Ole Heglie, and Levi Gangstad. Interment was in the Conrad Memorial cemetery.
