WILLIAM LONG
Dies at His Home in Carey Wednesday Evening, at 9:15 o'Clock:
William Long died at his home, in Carey, Wednesday evening, at 9:15 o'clock, after an illness of one year with consumption. William Long was born in Crawford township, August 22, 1851. He was married February 27, 1871, to Miss Mary Brenard, who survives him. They were parents of twelve children. Two sons are deceased and those who survive with the mother are: Mrs. Charles Bachies, Mrs. William Barr, Mrs. Ella Mohn and Mrs. Frank Jones, of Carey; Mrs. George W. Walter, of Tymochtee township; Charles Long, of Camden, Ind.; Clyde Long, of Marion; and Misses Hazel and Bessie and Clarence Long, at home. He is also survived by one brother, Thomas Long, of Carey; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Hotelling, five miles southwest of Carey; and Mrs. Frank Miller, on North Fifth street, in this city. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.

DEATH OF WM. LONG
William Long, a resident of this county for over fifty years, died at his home in Carey Wednesday night about 9:30 o'clock after suffering since last fall with consumption. He was born in Tymochtee township, Aug. 22, 1851, and has always been engaged in farming until about two years ago when he moved to Carey, Thirty-eight years ago he was united in marriage to Mary Brenard, who with ten children survive to mourn his loss. The children are Mrs. Ella Jones, Mrs. Nettie Walter, Mrs. Nora Mohn, Mrs. Grace Bakies, Mrs. Emma Barr, Missses Hazel and Bessie Long and Clarence Long of Carey and Charles Long of Camden, Ind. Deceased was a member of the United Evangelical church and he had many warm friends. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.
