William Maxwell

WILLIAM MAXWELL

William Maxwell is the son of Patrick Maxwell of Newark and the brother of George Maxwell of Newark. The Protocol Book of Henry Gibsone, charter number 1478 on p. 62

[On 28 September 1563 his brother George Maxwell of Newark gave him sasine propriis manibus of an annualrent of ten merks, to be paid to him from the forty pound lands of Newark. The Protocol Book of Henry Gibsone, charter number 1478 on p. 62
