About William Pratt
Biographical Summary:
William Pratt, an original proprietor and settler, supposed to have been brother of John; his home-lot in 1639 was on the east side of the road to the Cow Pasture. Served in the Pequot War; in 1645 sold his land to Matthew Beck with, and removed to Say brook; he was deputy from them 1666-1676; Lieutenant, in 1601. He married Elizabeth, daughter of John Clark, of Saybrook.
