About William Julian Regner

Alfred Zyzda was William's baptismal godfather.

At age 18, William came to the U.S. in November, 1922 together with his cousin Emil Zyzda. William initially came to Chicago to his uncle Jacob Regner and later went to work on his uncle Leo Regner's farm in McHenry County.

At age 24, William became a naturalized U.S. citizen on July 10,1928. At that time, he was residing in Chicago at 818 North Robey Street.

On February 14, 1931, Valentine's Day, William married Emma Anne Goral, daughter of Ignatius, Sr. and Hedwig Goral of Eaton (Poland), Wisconsin, at Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois.

William is buried in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in Section E, Block 1, Lot 47, grave 1, next to his wife, Emma Anne Regner.
