About William J. Ritenour
WILLIAM J. RITENOUR, retired railroad conductor, died early Tuesday morning of Bright's disease, at his home, 725 Salem Avenue, aged 68.
He was a conductor on the Norfolk & Western Railroad for 44 years and treasurer of the B.R.of T., of which he was a member for 26 years. He was also a member of Grace U.B. Church.
His wife, Nettie; daughters, Mrs. L.C. Berger, Washington; Mrs. Vesta Main, Mrs. Donald Weigand, Mrs. Charles Stevenson and Mrs. John Lewis, all of Hagerstown; and nine grandchildren, survive.
Services were held at the Suter Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
