Utica Observer Dispatch Tuesday February 2,1926 DEATH CLAIMS WILLIAM ROHM EARLY TODAY William J. Rohm, 314 Herkimer Road, a member of the Rohm store firm of Columbia Street, died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home after an illness of six months. The cause of death was given as heart troubles. He leaves his mother Mrs. Katherine R. Rohm; his wife formally, Katherine Stegmann, a brother Ernest P. Rohm and four sisters, Mrs. W. J. Carpenter, Mrs. Alfred Morgan, Mrs, Norbert Falk and Mrs. Howard Sexton, all of this city. Mr. Rohm was born in this city April 2, 1880, a son of Katherine Reusswig and the late Michael Rohm. He was educated in the public schools and for a time was employed as salesman for the C. A. Durr Packing Company. Of late years Mr. Rohm was associated with his brother in the meat market and bakery business, conducted at Broadway and Columbia Street. He was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters, the Commercial Traveler's Mutual Benefit Association and the First Moravian Church. He was well and favorably known in this section.
