During the late 1700’s William Hiram Slone (Son of James Slone and Sarah McGuire) and Mary Alice Sizemore came into Southeastern Kentucky from Virginia. Most researchers seem to agree that Alice had 3 sons when she m. William and Hiram is the only true Slone. I should point out that I've don't have any documented evidence that Wm. Hiram Sloan existed at all in Floyd Co. Ky!! where is he documented in Ky. ?? f.e.m.
