William Kidd Sutton

A fighter pilot in the RFC he is said to have been robbed of his knighthood as a pioneer pilot (London - Cape Town) by a bout of flu. He was a stockbroker, rejoined the RAF in WW2 and was stationed adjudant of Biggin Hill during the Battle of Britain.
