Surrounded by his family, William H. Turin, 91, of Elmer passed away on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at home.

Born in Chester, he was the son of Frank H. and Helen Turin. Mr. Turin was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Elmer, served in the U.S. Army as an MP, was a member of the Elmer VFW Post, and enjoyed hunting, boating and fishing.Mr. Turin retired from Seabrooks, where he worked for 45 years as a truck driver. However and most important, he loved and adored his family. From his wife, Alberta,who predeceased him, to his daughter Karen, to the grandchildren and nieces and nephews, he cherished the time spent with all of you.

He is survived by his daughter Karen More and her partner, Arthur F. Rollar; his brother and sister, Walter and Nina Turin of Elmer; his two grandchildren, Kelly M. Moylan and her husband Steven Sr., and Christopher S. More; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Ann Moylan, Danine and Steven Moylan Jr.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Alberta, his brothers, Harry, Tony and Alec; and sisters, Fannie Berko, Margaret Kornafel, Pauline Dziubanand Vera Romanik predeceased him.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Elmer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said following the viewing at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Elmer.

Interment will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Elmer.
