From The Ohio Webners (with origins in Pa.) Rootsweb database, last updated 2008:

William was baptized May 21, 1570 according to the Tredington Parish Register, Worchestershire, ENG, which calls him "of thos Walton de Armescote".

It is speculated that this is the William who married Elizabeth Dalby at Kineton, a few miles north of Oxhill, January 31, 1602 or 1603, because one of his sons was named Richard, a traditional Dalby name. If this is true, she must have died in time for William to remarry; a 1656 lease identifies Katherine as William's widow.

William is mentioned in the Muster Roll of 1599 for Military Service if needed.

Following are the supposed children of William and Katherine [SIC: children by earlier wife??], some of whom are mentioned in the will of William's mother, Elizabeth: Thomas, William, Elizabeth, William, Mary and Richard. William and Katherine may also have had a son, John.

Oxhill HIstory - Ceremonies

Is an interesting article about the baptism of Nathaniel, Daniel and Hester, offspring of a William Walton, with three children from another family of Oxhill on September 19th 1662. They were of different ages and it is thought this mass baptism was probably due to them being dissenters during the Civil War years.

This is too late for this profile but demonstrates the family living in Oxhill for this stretch of time.
