About Winnie M Robinson
Raised in Savannah, Illinois, Winnie contracted tuberculosis after her marriage to John Francis Runyan. She was strapped to a litter, put through the window of a train, and the couple moved to Tucson, Arizona for her health. Initially they lived in a pool hall, sleeping on a billiard table. They remained in Tucson until they moved to Alaska and subsequently California (Where she briefly married ___ Robinson after the death of her first husband, Costa Rica and Florida, living with their daughter, Helen and her husband Frank. After the death of Helen & Frank, she moved to California, living to the age of 102.
