Wanda H. Reno

Ogden – Wanda was born on June 16, 1932 in Roy, Utah to Selena Kippen Hammon and Daniel Jedediah Hammon, Jr. and passed away on January 1, 2011. She was raised in Ogden, Utah and attended Lincoln Elementary, Mound Fort and Ogden High schools.

She married Howard B. Giboney and was later divorced; they had one son. She married Russell B. Reno in Elko, Nevada on March 17, 1956; they had two sons. He passed away in 1998.

She was a member of the Ogden Women's Bowling Association and Women's Golf Association. She made many lifelong friendships in both associations.

She had three sisters and two brothers, of whom Jed (Cheryl) Hammon has survived her. She is also survived by her sons, Robert (Rose) Giboney and Donald Reno of Ogden, Lynn Reno of Washington, D.C.; grandson Jeffery (Crystal) Giboney; great-granddaughter, Devynn Giboney and a step-daughter, Brenda Reno.

Graveside services will be held at the Roy City Cemetery, 2300 W. 5300 So. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 6th at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
