About Woodfin Lee Butte
Woodfin Butte followed his father in a legal career, having received his degree from the Yale Law School. Woodfin Butte was a UT law professor, with expertise in civil, comparative and international law, the law of the sea, and the legal systems of Latin America. He was previously an attorney for Standard Oil based in London, England. He died at the age of seventy-two while on a trip to Alaska.
