STOCKINGER, Woodrow W. -- 731 Pettibone Ave., age 59, died Friday, Apr il 28,1972 at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m . Monday at Mt. Vernon Chapel, Brown Funeral Home, Rev. Lewis C. Sutto n, Jr. officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mr Stockinger wil l lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Mr Stocking er was born in Flint, Michigan, November 6, 1912 and had been a reside nt of Flint all his life. He had been employed for 39 years at Chevrol et V-8 Engine, retiring in 1970 . Surviving are wife Ethel Marie; 2 so ns, Dennis of Lennon, Michigan and David serving with the U.S. army; 3 daughters, Mrs. Rosela Hinman, Mrs. Joyce Kittle and Mrs. Jeanette T ucker, all of Flint; stepson Davis Stuart of Flint; 2 brothers Harvey and Floyd, both of Flint; 4 sisters, Mrs. Dennis Gocha of Clio, Mrs. W oodrow Foister of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Dorothy Nelson of Tawas City a nd Mrs. Claude Logan of Flint; several nieces and nephews and other re latives.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: May 27 2021, 23:48:48 UTC
