HE SERVE IN THE EUROPEAN AND AFRICAN THEATER DURING WORLD WAR 2 SERVE 2 YEAR 9 MONTH 29 DAY OVER SEAS HE WAS AMBIVALENCE DRIVER HIS COMPANY RECEIVED GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL GO 2 HQ 47 ARMD MED BN 45, EUROPEAN AFRICAN MIDDLE EASTERN MEDAL DISTINGUISHED UNIT CITATION GO 47 HQ 1ST ARMD DIV 45. HE DIDN'T MUCH LIKE TALKING ABOUT HIS TIME IN THE ARMY.HE LOST HIS CLOSES BUDDY. HE DID SOME BOXING IN THE ARMY. HE MET MY MOTHER IN OATMAN AZ AT THE MISSION INN HE WAS A BARTENDER SHE WAS WAITRESS. SHE TOOK ONE LOOK AT HIM AND IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT .SHE HAD A CAT FIGHT WITH ANOTHER WOMEN AND WON HER MAN, HE WORK FOR THE US GOVERMENT

He retired from he Bureau of Reclamation as a Engineer on the Colorado River Serve as Firer Chief on Volunteer Firer Department in Oatman AZ . He was a Boxer and did some sparing in he Army and also won golden glove . Work as a Gold Miner in Oatman AZ prior to serving. in World World. all Was a loving Husband and Father. Great neighbor neighbor came to him for help and he was always willing to give a hand Also worked as Test Pilot for Bechtel Corporations


My Dad was from the greatest generation! I agree he was great ! He and my Mom taught me a great lesson in life! To live my the greatest commandment in the Bible, to love your enemies and to love God! That family comes first! The Golden rule! forgiveness is important! To have compassion for others. He is a great role model he gave of hisself for many!
