• Walter “Wouter Jansen” Johnson
• He is noted as the first Johnson in America of this line.
• His grave is unknown, likely erased with time. And no known duplicates were found on the FAG index search, however his name is also shown here as Van der Bosch, so that he may be found on FAG.

He was proved the son of Jan WOUTERS, page 102 in the 1930 Mahlon Johnson Family genealogy book(New England Genelogical/Historical Reg. @ V. 65, Oct. 1913, page 380). He is presumed buried at Flat Bush, Long Island, NY or here, although no gravestone is found. His memorial is also found with his HOlland surname of Van der Bosch, like that of his father Jan Wouterzen Van der Bosch: Walter JOHNSON. Most all of their children were Jansen or Johnson for the American adaptation of the Holland surname of Jansen (Van der Bosch).
