Zachariah Matlock

Zacharia Matlock and his wife Edith/Emily Strain Paine had seven children. Their first two sons, Isham and James Ransom, married Hale sisters, Nancy Ellen and Barbara. Their last two daughters, Nancy and Eady, married Vaughn brothers, John and William. Their second son, Thomas Martin Matlock, married Barbara Rinehart, sister of Lewis Rinehart and George John Rinehart. George John Rinehart married Jane Matlock, the second daughter of Zacharia and Edith Matlock. And Zacharia and Edith's first daughter, Ann Matlock, married Ezekiel Ellis, the father of Elizabeth Ellis, who married Lewis Rinehart. Thomas Martin Matlock and Barbara Rinehart named their eldest son, Lewis Rinehart Matlock.

In summary, the siblings Thomas Martin and Jane Matlock married siblings Barbara and John George Rinehart. And their sibling, Ann Matlock married Barbara and John George's sibling, Lewis Rinehart's father-in-law, Ezekiel Ellis.
