Biography

Zebedee Chandler performed Patriotic Service in Massachusetts in the American Revolution.
Zebedee was the son of Zebedee Chandler and Repentance Lucas.

Private, Capt. Edward Sparrow's co., Col. Nathan Tyler's regt.; enlisted July 11, 1779; service to December 1, 1779, 4 mons. 20 days at Rhode Island; roll sworn to at Middleborough; also same co. and regt.; payroll for December 1779, allowing 1 month 3 days service at Rhode Island.[1]

He married Zeruiah Cushman, daughter of Benjamin & Zeruiah (Sampson) Cushman, about 1784 in Plympton, Plymouth MA - parents of Zebedee, Zeruiah & Sarah "Sally"
