Zelda Irene Frame

Zelda Irene Frame, daughter of Wesley and Grace Monk Frame, was born October 20, 1907 in Ringgold County, Iowa. She died Saturday, May 16 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines at the age of seventy three years, six months and twenty-six days.

She lived most of her life in the Clearfield area. On July 29, 1925, she was united in marriage with Floyd Frame at Bedford, Iowa. Mrs. Frame was a member of the United Methodist Church and the U.M.C. circle in Clearfield and also belonged to two neighborhood clubs.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother Claude Monk.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd; three sons, Floyd, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Fort Collins, Colorado, their children, Ronald, Donald and Melody, Marvin and wife, Martha of Las Vegas, Nevada, their children, Lee Ann, Dave, Randy, and Mitch and Dean, his wife, Deanna of Ankeny, Iowa their children, Lauri, Mike, Wayne, and Kyle; two daughters, Donna Hancock and husband Harold of rural Bedford their children, Debbie, Dan, Denny, Doyle, and Darin and Janice Rogers and husband Ronald of rural Corning, and children, Brian and Rachelle; five great grandchildren, as well as other relatives.

Services were held Tuesday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Clearfield, Iowa with Pastor Kevin Hoffman officiating. Music was provided by Patty Parrish, organist and Marilyn Beck and Billie Jean Barker, vocalists.

Casket bearers were Louis Votava, Myron Smith, Alva Jones, J. E. Ecklin, Raymond Taylor, and Jack Gourley.

Interment was in the West Fairview Cemetery at Lenox, Iowa.

Varner-Watson Funeral Home of Clearfield was in charge of arrangements.
