Obituary for Zeola Roth Zeola Gertrude Roth passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE. Zeola was born April 14, 1918 at rural Beemer, NE to Ernst and Bertha (Zipf) Wascher. She was baptized and confirmed at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Beemer, NE. Zeola attended Immanuel Lutheran Parochial School. On April 9, 1939, she was united in marriage to Floyd Roth at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Beemer, NE. The couple was engaged in farming northeast of Wisner and moved into Wisner in 1972. Zeola was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wisner, was a member of its LWML, ladies quilting group, typed Sunday School lessons in Braile for over ten years, and also was a member of the Scattered Neighbors and Homemakers Hour Extension Clubs. Zeola enjoyed sewing, puzzles and reading. Zeola is survived by her sister Iona Roth of Wisner; twin sister Viola Kuester of West Point, NE; daughters Vondell Hass of Wichita, KS; Dianne and Gary Kovash of Balwin, MO; Daughter-in-law-Greta Roth of Wisner, NE; as well as 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Zeola was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd, son Lonnie, sisters Hattie Brockmann, Golda Leimer, Evelina Ott, and brothers Herbert Wascher and Edgar Wascher.
