Master Richard F. Becker, 1, was born in Kodaikanal, India. He boarded the Titanic at Southampton. He was travelling with his mother Nellie and sisters Marion and Ruth from India to Benton Harbour, Michigan. Their ticket was #230136 and cost £39. Richard was rescued along with his mother and Marion in lifeboat 11.

He was first married to Eva Marie Anderson who died October 11. 1942 at the age of 30 in St. Louis, MO. Richard became a singer and in later life a social welfare worker. Widowed for a second time, he passed away in 1975.

"Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Deborah) Ehrlich of Peoria, and Mrs. Joseph (Judith) McDonough of Rubicon, Wis., one son, Richard F. Becker, Jr., of Buffalo Grove; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Blanchard of Santa Barbara, Calif., and seven grandchildren".
