About Henry Edgar Taylor

(son of John Taylor, born November 1, 1808, Milnthorpe, Westmoreland, England, and Mary Ann Oakley, born March 20, 1826, Flat Lands, Long Island, New York, married April, 1845, Nauvoo, Illinois). He was born December 26, 1849, Salt Lake City.

   Married:	Hariet A. Weaver August 6, 1875 (daughter of William Weaver and Ann Watkins, came to Utah 1869, Captain Parry company). She was born March 15, 1859.
   Their children:
           Lawrence born January 1, 1879, married Pearl Pingree August 16, 1905;
           Ida May born April 5, 1876, married Alma T. Flinders April 8, 1899;
           Henry E. born September 5, 1882;
           Mary Ann born February 9, 1886, married E. Norman Freeman December 5, 1906;
           Ernest Weaver born November 24, 1891.
   Family resided Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah.

Missionary to eastern states 1894-96. Worked on Assembly Hall organ from start to finish, and on the Tabernacle organ during reconstruction. Sources:
