William Stewart Seely (1812 - 1896), son of Justice Azel Seely and Mehitable Burnett, was born 8 May 1812 at Puckering, Ontario, Canada; he died at the age of 84 on 17 September 1896 at Mount Pleasant, Sanpete County, Utah; he was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. He emigrated to Utah in 1847 with the John Taylor Company.
