BORSHY, Rosalyn (nee Goodman) Peacefully, on Friday, December 31, 2010, at the age of ninety-two. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Leslie and Eve, Diane, Hilary and Ron Grossman of Ottawa. Cherished Bubbie of Dana and Jon Auerbach, Jonathan, Kara and Ryan; Katie and Paul Schaeffer, Richard Sowalsky and Stephanie, Daniel and Annamaria, Noah and Holly, and Joshua. Peacock-proud great-grandmother of Ethan Auerbach. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses in England. She will be lovingly remembered by Mark and Barbara Rosen of England, and by her nieces, nephews and their families. Special thanks to her companions, Vivian Hanson and Joan Champagne, for their exceptional care and devotion, and to the staff of Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their compassionate care. Funeral and burial service took place on Sunday, January 2. Shiva Sunday through Tuesday at Maimonides Geriatric Centre, 5th Floor Education Room, continuing Wednesday through Friday morning at 106 Rouville, D.D.O.
