1931 Registration of Bacher Births
Ethel Bacher
Noe Bacher, first husband of Sarah Sabbath, died in 1907, so Ethel is more likely to be his daughter. Other records suggest Ethel was born in 1901. In the 1911 census, Hitta, 10, is born Dec 1901., and her brother Harry is listed as born May 1903. Her 1922 marriage record lists her as 21 years old [1901 birth] and a native of Austria. In 1940,(Sept. 10 27860-E) Max Leibovitch obtained an Imperial Certificate of Naturalization with his wife Ethel Bacher, so Ethel was certainly not born in Canada. Max Leibovitch signed Bennie Bacher's birth record, but not his wife's. |
