Philip David Dubrovsky's Timeline

1885
March 1885
Shchedrin, Zhlobin District, Gomel Region, Belarus

Philip's 1909 marriage lists his age as 24, implying an 1885 birth.

His naturalization file is hard to read, but indicates March 1865 or 1885, so 1885 seems likely.

Philip's naturalization file lists his place of birth as Sederin, Minsk in his petition and Chedren, Minskoi in the RCMP report.

Shchadryn, Belarus seems very likely http://data.jewishgen.org/wconnect/wc.dll?jg~jgsys~community~-19493...

According to her 2005 obituary, Fay was in her 97th year, implying that she was 96, implying that she was born in 1909. No age was supplied on her 1939 marriage record. Her brother Harry, whose gravestone indicates birth in 1912, was in the 1911 census, but Fay was not. In the 1921 census, we see Harry (12), Louis (10), Sam (8) and Fanny (6), so this is probably Fay, and she was probably born in 1915.
