Thomas Andrews was one of the first settlers of Hingham (formerly Barecove) Massachusetts, before 8 July 1635 when his son Joseph was sworn in as constable there. He was born about 1572 in England (based on estimated age of son). He died 21 Aug 1643 in Hingham, Massachusetts. His only known son was Joseph, and there is no evidence that his wife was with him in New England, much less that her name was Mary Simon.
