About Éva Lang

Eva, her parents, her husband, and other family members were saved from the Holocaust by Angel Sanz Briz (https://www.yadvashem.org/righteous/stories/briz.html), a man sadly forgotten by history. He saved more than 5000 Jews from Budapest. Giorgio Perlasca helped save the Jews, but it should not be forgotten that the architect of the operation was Angel Sanz Briz. Eva Lang (nee Königsberg) went to the Spanish embassy in Budapest alleging that she had a relative living in the city of La Coruña (Galicia, Spain). This relative was her father's brother-in-law, Sándor Königsberg, had married Józsa Stern. Józsa's brother Lázslo (Ladislao) Stern lived in the city of La Coruña and was married there to a galician woman. Another brother, Alexander Stern, had also lived in the same city but had moved to Chile. A group of Jewish friends had arrived in the city of La Coruña, among which was Eduard Munk and Emil Moskovics (with a profile in Geni). Moskovics was partner of Lazslo Stern and he also married to a galician woman, Otilia Pan Mosquera. The parents of my grandfather Emil Moskovics, Markusz Moskovics and Bella Fani Spiegel were also saved from the Holocaust by Ángel Sanz Briz
