  • Regina Eisemann became a widow in 1924, when her husband Abraham died. She did not remarry.
  • Regina Eisemann (nee Maier) attempted to leave from Germany, hoping to join a son in the United States; see document in Arolsen Archives. Her effort failed. See https://collections.arolsen-archives.org/en/document/129818718
  • On 10 May 1942, a total of 12 members of Regina Eisemann's family - sons, daughters, in-laws, and grandchildren, were deported from Thüringen to Belzyce Ghetto in occupied Poland. None survived.
  • On 14 September 1942, Regina Eisemann signed a contract with the Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland (RV)(The National Association of German Jews) whereby she assigned all her remaining assets to the RV. The contract was called a "Heimeinkaufsvertrag" or "Home Purchase Contract" and was supposed to provide Regina Eisemann with room & board and medical attention and other care in the Theresienstadt Ghetto. Instead, the money paid to the RV went directly into Nazi coffers, and Regina Eisemann did not receive any of the promised care.The contract can be found in the Arolsen Archives digital database at: https://collections.arolsen-archives.org/en/document/128184927
  • On 19/20 September 1942, Regina Eisemann (née Maier) was deported from Bauerbach to Weimar and then to Ghetto Theresienstadt. Her daughter was on the same transport. On 12 April 1943, she died in the Ghetto. Her daughter was transported further to Auschwitz in October 1944.
