She married Andrew Porter McDonald

Fannie Lottie Smith McDonald was the sister of Mary Loretta Smith. Mary Andrew Porter McDonald's brother, John Roberts McDonald.

This is also where one of the other McDonald clans in the Overton County area intersect with Phillip McDonnold (born 1740) family. Hanna McDonald, Fannie's mother was the granddaughter of Alexander Sells McDonald born in Scotland in 1738. These McDonald's seem to come out of Virginia before settling in Overton County.

Both Fannie and Mary regained their mother's maiden name and both sisters seemed to have died young, Fannie died at age 29. Mary Loretta Smith also died at age 29. Both a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=36423007">Andrew Porter and John Roberts McDonald remarried.
