Jakob Reif became Uhersky Ostroh Familiant No. 12 in 1813; death date of 27 7ber 1831 appears at right of the record. He resided Ostroh Haus No. 15 at time of death -- which, according to the Plan of Ostroh (based on 1727 Familiant Laws establishing a Jewish Quarter), he actually owned. He is No. 15b on the list of House-owners written on the document in the 1790s/1800s.

Jakob married Rachel Winter on June 2, 1813 in Uhersky Ostroh Marriages [O], Image #12/113. Witnesses were Emanuel Winter and Bernard Tauss.

In 1822, a widower, Jakob married Ziperl Tauss on August 7, 1822 in Uhersky Ostroh Marriages [O], Image #14/113. Witnesses were Jonas Tauss and Simon Fuchs.

Jakob's death record is in Czech Jewish Registers, Uhersky Ostroh [Z=Deaths] 1830-1846 (i), image #5 of 41. Jakob is listed as Ostrauer Familiant, residing Haus No. 15. Birthdate given as April 4, 1788. Schmaya Adler was one of the officiants who "buried" most of the people on this page, including Jakob Reif.
