Eleanor Means, born in 1788, Randolph Co, NC. She married RICHARD SMITH, born in 1788 (Tennessee).
Eleanor and Richard settled on the West Fork of the Obed River, near Indian Creek, and apparently very near the line between Overton and Fentress Counties.
Richard was an elder in the West Fork Christian Church.
