Viscount of Barcelona (circa 985 - circa 1014), son of Viscount Guitard i de Geriberga. In 985, Count Borrell II commissioned him for the defence of Barcelona, together with the archdeacon, Arnulf, during the attack of Almansor. He was imprisoned by the attackers and escorted to Cordoba, where he remained for five years, during which time his brother, Geribert held the viscountcy. He was rescued in mid- 990, along with the archdeacon Arnulf, the future bishop of Osona, and returned to his duties as a viscount, which he continued until his death.
