Acfred II, comte de Carcassonne

The primary source which confirms his parentage has not yet been identified. He succeeded his brother in 908 as Comte de Carcassonne et de Razès. "Agfredus comes…in civitate Carcassonna" donated "alodem Brucias in comitatu Carcassense…" to the abbey of Montolieu by charter dated 24 May 934, subscribed by "…Radulfus, Ugo, Oliba…"[406].
