Aline Star Cemetery, Aline, Oklahoma

The Aline Cemetery Association was organized June 3, 1903 when William H. Howe gave a deed for land to be used as a cemetery. Aug. 6, 1903 a Land Patent was issued to the officers; John Mincher, President, M.M. McCully, Secretary, Ezra E. Hartshorn, John Hartshorn, H.A. Like and L.C. Thomas.
Oct. 20, 1914 the Association called a meeting for the purpose of turning control of the cemetery to the Aline Eastern Star Lodge, A.G. White Worthy Patron. The name was changed to the Aline Eastern Star Cemetery. September 14, 1959 additional land was purchased from Claude Kerns to make section D. The two deeds and original land patent are on file with the president. Oct. 10, 1972 the Eastern Star Chapter reorganized the cemetery association to become The Aline Star Cemetery with control by a board of directors elected by the Chapter. This organization continues to date.

The cemetery is located in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma.
