So the search in the canopy of your family tree has uncovered some...discrepancies. And why are the documents that mention this certain group all marred? "Everyone agrees that the two were related directly, but the proof has....vanished'. "Disappeared." Sometimes relations had to be covered up, or hidden from public view to protect the names of the people innocently caught in another's choice to be different. Maybe someone was just jealous because they couldn't prove they were descended from The Greatest King Ever. Whatever the sinister possibility is, this project is for those who find what appears to be an altered genealogy.
